"I couldn't feel your power or your presence, even though you were breathing," Raven said quietly. "Junior Imperial Physician Vale kept saying that there was nothing really wrong with you and that you were just unconscious and would wake up soon, and that this was similar to the time you had fainted back in the Emerald Kingdom and there was nothing to worry about, but…"

Mana felt her shoulder gain a wet patch and she quickly raised her hand and stroked Raven's dark hair with gentle fingers, letting him cry silently.

"I'm sorry," she said softly. "Junior Imperial Physician Vale was right – it was just like last time. Some new pages opened in the book…"

Raven raised his head and wiped his tears. "The one that you can't speak about?" he whispered.

Mana sighed and nodded.
