Bab 37: More pain
Agni wakes up in the morning and takes a shower. As she is brushing her hair,she remembers the conversation Nisha was having on the phone and tries to find a way to figure out who she was talking to. She goes downstairs to have breakfast with her eyes fixed on Nisha. Agni seats at the table next to Nisha who puts her phone on the table. Agni sees the phone and tries not to let the opportunity slip off her hands. She creates a distraction and as everyone is not paying attention, she grabs Nisha's phone and puts it in jacket pocket. After breakfast,Agni quickly goes to her room and searches for the last number Nisha last called. She finds out that Nisha last called her mom. Agni however is not satisfied with what she found, she puts a tiny tracker in the phone cover,which records every conversation and also location connecting it to her phone. Upon doing this, she takes the phone to the kitchen so no one would be suspicious. Nisha starts to look for her phone,Matteo calls her number and they find it in the kitchen. Matteo goes to the office with Nisha. When they reach the office, Nisha starts to poison Matteo's mind against his cousin, " I can't believe this, after all these years,you put in all your work and your sister doesn't Let you start your business or open up an account, how will we take care of our children in the future "
Matteo keeps quiet and this keeps Nisha in the dark as to whether her plan has worked or not. Agni and Abbey meet at a restaurant to have lunch together. There,Abbey tells Agni about his intention to date her," listen Agni I didn't just invite you here so we could have lunch...for a while now,I have liked you very much and I want us to start dating so we can get to know each other better "
Agni blindly agrees to the relationship," I agree with you... and I also think that I should introduce you to my family as my boyfriend, so let's go "
Abbey and Agni leave the restaurant and go to the house. Upon reaching there,Agni introduces Abbey as her official boyfriend to everyone, " I have good news for all of you, Abbey here is now officially my boyfriend "
The entire family is happy for the village head,Mira personally congratulates her step daughter, " I am so proud of you, you are all grown up now"
Kel gives his daughter a hug as a sign of pride," if your mother was here,she would have been extremely happy,but am here too so congratulations my little princess "
Matteo walks in and disrupts the conversation, " are all of you done showering all your congratulations?"
The family turns around to look at Matteo and Nisha standing behind them. Agni walks to Matteo to give him the good news but gets a cold reply. Agni reminds Matteo of what he told her in the past on how he would throw a party when she had a boyfriend, " remember how told me you would throw a party when your sister had a boyfriend, now Jace are I are dating so you can throw a party"
Matteo embarrasses Agni in front of the family, " why should I throw a party? you weren't happy about my relationship with Nisha... anyways, that's not what I want to talk about. I wanted to say that, I can no longer want to do business with Agni, I will join my fathers business so I can earn a capital to start my own business for my future generation and children "
Tony in anger,scolds his son," Are you nuts? you have no business experience,you yourself chose to study agriculture, whilst Agni chose business which is why we told you to work with her, your business will collapse,making you lose money!"
Agni also talks to her cousin, " why are you doing this am your cousin so tell me what you want and I'll get it for you"
Matteo argues with his sister," this is exactly what I was talking about! you are so selfish, and for a reminder, I severed ties with you, we not cousins!"
Agni is hurt by Matteo's words and she goes out of the house with Jace too after her. Tony gets angry at his son but he controls his temper.
