Bab 292: Mother's pain

*Selene's PoV*

I was tired beyond my own capacity after cleaning up the bathroom. The only thing that remained right now was the washbasin. It was the dirtiest and there was a distinct smell of death that came from there. Even though I wasn't locked away in the dungeon this time, this room was the worst than that. When I lifted the many bottles from the sink, I saw a dead mouse. There was a large cavity where his stomach was supposed to be extremely maggots crawled around it, feeding off from what was left. The smell immediately made me nauseous. 

No matter how much effort I made to look back at it, the smell was extremely overpowering and I had to puke.
