The Demon hadn't touched the Little Angel before she leapt up, her cloak flaring open to reveal an excited little face, and then she punched the Demon squarely in the eye socket.

The Demon took the punch solidly, as if his head had been struck by a log, sent flying backward, dragging his entire body along, crashing into his comrades behind him, his head lolling to the side as he passed out.

Negriss grumbled, "His head's pretty tough, didn't blow up."

The Demon's companions stumbled from the impact, angrily straightening up only to find that the little girl had sprinted right in front of them.

From behind the Little Angel, white flames burst forth, propelling her forward as she struck another Demon in the face with a sharp punch.

That Demon's head flipped backward with his body, spitting out a mouthful of blood and several teeth.
