Rylon and Dylon were Ivan's cousins. They were twins and were younger to Ivan by three years. They were also the youngest and the most mischievous members of the clan. Since they both were young, their mistakes were often overlooked by everyone.
Like other members of the vampire clan, both of them also possessed supernatural powers. Dylon had the speed faster than lightning while Rylon could sense the presence of someone and locate them even if they were on the other side of the earth. Together, the twins were a perfect team.
Taking out his wallet, Ivan handed it over to them. "Just use the cards and bring them back by tomorrow morning. If you don't, I will tell Darius how you both are breaking news right under his nose."
Grinning from ear to ear, Dylon remarked, "Thanks bro." Waving the wallet, he rejoiced, "This feels so great and nice. I wonder if muggers feel the same after mugging people."
"Do you think we should start a mugging business?" Rylon suggested.
"Sounds great but how do we scare them?"
"I have something—" Taking out a pocket knife from his coat, he jerked it open. "We can use this."
Just then someone grabbed Rylon's coat and pressed something sharp on his back.
"Drop the knife or I'll call 911."
Without thinking much, he dropped the knife on the floor which was immediately kicked away.
"Now move towards the corner and let that gentleman come out," Amber said in a shaky voice.
Not knowing what to do, Rylan and Dylan ended up doing as they were being instructed by the stranger.
Ivan on the other hand was also completely taken aback by the strangers actions. He did not know who she was and what she was trying to do but he still decided to follow her instructions just like the other two young men.
Looking at Ivan who was still standing rooted on the ground, Amber instructed, "Hey, come out." And he did exactly what she wanted him to do.
Walking towards her, he stood right beside her. He was still trying to figure out what she was trying to do.
Holding her small pocket knife tightly with her right hand and a pepper spray on the other, she stuttered, "I know what you are trying to do. Aren't you both ashamed? Why don't you both work hard and earn a living instead of mugging innocent people. There is seriously plenty of space in hell for people like you."
When Amber was on her way to her office, she saw a man handing over his wallet to two young men who definitely had a knife in his hand. Thinking the man was getting mugged by two evil men, she decided to help him out. Taking out the pocket knife and pepper spray from her bag, she jumped to the rescue.
"What? Wait a second lady, we are not—" Rylon stopped midway when Ivan gestured him to keep quiet.
"Don't try to justify your acts now. I have seen with my own eyes what you were trying to do." Gulping in nervousness, she firmly instructed, "Now handover the wallet politely or I will call the police."
Both of them looked at Ivan for some help but the latter was shamelessly smiling at their helplessness.
Though the situation was funny, Ivan was more amused at the boldness of the lady who was definitely more scared and worried than anyone was. Her shaky hands and sweaty forehead made it even more evident. Why would she come and help someone who was getting mugged if she herself was so scared?
'Crazy,' he thought before gesturing his equally frightened cousins to leave.
