Bab 50: All, Except Love

Like men on a mission, the Council's emissaries came down to West World on planet Earth.

Brandishing a tremendous amount of power, enough to wow fellow gods, they fought against Gorak and his dark forces and utterly defeated them, saving all mortals.

They, including Dela, were the heroes of the world.

Once they were done with Gorak, it was time to restore the planets and mortal beings he destroyed, and revert the damage he had done.

With a snap of the fingers, all the captured slaves were freed. That was the difference between gods and guardians. Dela couldn't help feeling quite useless compared to the gods, even with her newly acquired powers.

The Keepers then refreshed all the people and restored the land, making it bountiful, beautiful, rich and overly comfortable as recompense for the mortal's years of suffering.
