A torrent of cracks spread rapidly across the body of the massive transparent barrier shielding the entire length and width of the tower as the barrier starts to give way from the last set of ripple attacks.
*CRACCCKKA-KA-KACCK! GRRR... RUMBLE RUMBLE... CRR-CK!*
*...CRASH!*
A small section of the barrier comes crashing down in pieces, onto the balcony, followed by larger pieces.
*BANG! BANG!! CRASH!! CCRASSSSH-INKK!!!... KI-KINK!!!*
The whole thing was coming down on their heads! They had to leave this instant if they hoped to make it out alive.
