(Daki POV continued)
Now that I think about it, this woman really is strong, isn't she? Not only is she knocking away each of my sashes that have the sharpness of a blade, but she's also ramming them into the walls, causing the room to violently shake.
As the woman continues to twirl around the room, she suddenly stops moving her feet. Taking this as a chance, I send my sashes to rush at her again, but she ducks impossibly low while plunging her hand into the floorboard. Seconds later, she erects herself, a weapon now in hand.
Quickly unsheathing the blade, she aptly slices through all my oncoming sashes without a second thought.
"Why don't you reveal yourself to me, demon?"
Slipping through a crack in the roof, I emerge from my sash, letting this sad individual bask in my presence. Staring straight into my eyes, the woman's own eyes go wide in disbelief.
"Huh, you're an Upper Moon? I guess Uzui and Shiro were right. Also, you're the same person as Warabihime, right?"
"Why of course you pathetic Demon Slayer." I answer, understanding her confusion since I had shifted from the typical oiran to now being black hair in a full, long ponytail, held up by kanzashi hairpins.
"Now, little Demon Slayer, how many of you are there? Is there a Hashira with you? Or will he be here soon? I know you're not a Hashira. You seemed weak in our previous encounter after all, and I have no use for anyone who's not a Hashira. Got that?"
"Well, sorry to disappoint you Upper Kizuki Six, but I am actually a Hashira."
Looking at the pink haired girl who was rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment, I can't help but let out a laugh.
"Someone who got knocked out from one of my attacks is considered a Hashira? Is everyone in the Demon Slayer Corps highest rank as weak as you are? Don't think that to get to the ranks of Hashira it's simply a beauty contest, after all, wouldn't I, the most beautiful in existence, qualify to be a Hashira."
"Eh… you, pretty? All I see is a whore trying to sell herself to others." Mentioning my rather revealing clothing.
Yet, upon hearing this insult, I yell, "I never devour dirty old people or anyone ugly! So, it's rather nice that I can feast on someone as rude as you! And who do you think you're talking to? How dare you insult my beauty…"
Having regenerated my sashes long ago, I send them converging upon her. Taking the full front of the blast with her blade, she's rocketed outside of the Kyogoku House and into one of the neighboring building roof tiles. Walking outside the hole I made, I find that she's standing there, glaring at me.
"It appears that your body and blade are both quite resilient, I wonder how they'll taste…"
Taking a power stance, the demeanor around the woman changes, causing the dust to flow around her.
"Love Breathing Second Form: Love Pangs" I hear her murmur.
Instantly, her entire blade extends outwards into multiple pieces, reaching to my neck even from where she stood. Blocking the first few whip slashes with my sashes, they slowly begin to increase in strength, until they slice clean through, beginning the carving on my body that she executes with precision. Gasping for breath, I tumble off the building, healing myself while in the air. Now staring up at the woman, I can see her showing a taunting smile.
'She could have sliced off my head with that attack, couldn't she?'
Feeling the sense of dread, I can't help but acknowledge this woman as a Hashira.
"Why not slice through my neck?" I ask, feeling up my neck.
"Well, Shiro said that we should always be wary of any hidden tricks that an Upper Moon Demon might have in store for us and should only try and kill it when at least two of us are present."
"Two what?" I gulp.
"Why, two Hashiras of course. You didn't honestly think that I was the only Hashira who would come here, did you?" She answers, realizing my fears, "After all, Upper Moon Demons are of a completely different category to other demons, we can't risk the chance of you killing any of us."
'So, in other words, my only chance to kill her is when she's by herself. I must act fast!'
Launching myself into the air above the Hashira, all four of my sashes extend from my body, almost like spider legs, and begin to fight against the Hashira, while I sit in the sky, directing each of them.
"Ah, it's a nice try, really, but aren't Upper Moons supposed to be stronger than this?"
Wanting to ask what she meant by that, I find my torso being separated from my legs.
"All of your attacks are slow, so for a Hashira, you're rather simple to deal with."
Following her announcement, a blast echoes through the air, deafening me for a moment.
"What an infernal racket, you piece of trash!" I can't help but say, forgetting about the Hashira in front of me, "What is that sound? What are you doing? Where? From the Ogimoto House? And also, Hinatsuru… How many of there are you? Three?"
"Well, I suppose it doesn't hurt to answer you, after all, I do feel bad for insulting you. So, there are five demon slayers here, three of which are Hashiras." The Hashira shamelessly reveals.
Uncertain of how to respond, I can't help but think that this woman was really an airhead.
Watching as she jumps from the rood she was standing on, she began to walk towards me and it was almost like I could hear her thoughts saying, 'Even if she does look like a whore, she really is pretty.'
Feeling as a tick mark bulges on my forehead, I once again try and attack her with my four obi sashes, but the same result ensues with her cutting through all of them easily and then removing some limb, other than my head, from the rest of my body. A sense of rage slowly started to consume my senses.
'Why is it that I can't even hit this woman?'
'How did she get so strong from the last time we met?'
Yet my thoughts screech to a halt when the woman disappears from her spot at such a speed that it caused the ground itself to be ripped up.
Appearing next to me, the woman whispers, "And, just as a forewarning, I'm not even the strongest here."
After hearing that, her fist is planted inside of my stomach, sending me hurtling over multiple houses before finally slamming into one.
'She just said that she isn't the strongest one here, right? So, is that guy also here?' I can't help but worriedly think. 'If that were true, then I need to escape back to Muzan-sama right now, or else I will really be killed. Aiii, but what would Muzan-sama think if I were to come back without having killed a single Hashira. Mmm… this is such a dilemma; I wish my brother were here to help me out.'
Removing myself from the pile of rubble, my breath hitches in my throat when I find the Hashira calmly waiting on the roof in front of mine.
"The more that I fight you, the more I think that there is no way you're an Upper Moon. After all, aren't you just to weak? Based on the tales of Shiro, you Upper Kizuki should be way, way stronger." She emphasizes. "But you just don't the sort of pizazz that I thought you would, it's kind of disappointing."
"Well, you're certainly a pesky one yourself. More than I thought you'd be." I spit. "This is simply just increasing my appetite to eat you even more."
Leaping into the air once again, I send a sash forward which is aptly deflected, put I pull myself forward to enter a brawl with this woman. But that was certainly a mistake as I had literally seen her physical prowess when she warded off my sashes and when she had launched me, so I found the two of my arms being gripped impossibly tight before the Hashira planted her foot in my chest, causing my arms to rip away, still being held in her grasp.
Throwing them off to the side, the Hashira starts to approach me again.
Regrowing my arms, the Hashira compliments, "Wow… each time I see one of you demons use your regenerative abilities, it leaves me speechless."
Gritting my teeth at this Hashiras jovial attitude, two of my sashes comes back to me, and shortly after, two more. Stumbling ever so slightly, the memories of the sashes flow into me.
"I only see one other Hashira, turns out this one was lying to me." I mumble, feeling a smile grow on my face since I knew that he was not here.
Now with all my Obi Sashes back, so too was my strength and my hair turned into its wonderous pale white with green tips.
Looking up to the sky, I can't help but squeal in delight, "I get the opportunity to kill not one, but two Hashiras! That will certainly please my master!"
"But you still have to deal with me, don't you?" The first Hashira cocks her head.
Smiling sadistically at her, our pleasurable little moment is interrupted by an unwanted individual.
"You guys need to shut the hell up! What's the deal with that sword? You have a lot of nerve, brawling in front of my House! What kind of harassment is this?" An insignificant little bug begins, "I'll have you know that this Hanamachi is viable because we and our clients all follow the rules! People like you aren't welcome here! Now get the hell out of my sight!"
"Why don't you shut your trap?" I growl.
"No! Don't come this way!" The female Hashira screams, but it's already too late.
Sending power coursing through my sashes, I send them out in all direction, destroying anyone and anything in their path, yet upon looking at all the damage that I'd done, there wasn't a single corpse in sight. All I could see were slight injuries to each person, including the loss of a hand to the person who yelled at us.
Wondering how this woman could protect so many of them at once, a shiver runs through my body when I see the glare that she's sending my way.
"I won't let you get away with this! Not after what you just did!"
"And you think that you can stop me now that I'm at full power?" I taunt, jumping to a roof. "You should have let all of those ugly ones die and then rot there yourself."
"All of these people have remarkable traits that make each and every one of them lovable. You'll pay for injuring them." Once again moving at a speed in which I could barely see, I hear the woman murmur, "Love Breathing First Form: Shivers of First Love".
Seeing as her blade extends again to try and wrap around me, I use my own Blood Demon Art: 'Eight Layered Obi Slash'. Yet instead of bypassing her attacks, it simply nullifies her technique, leaving the two of us to be locked in a stand still.
But before I can think about a strategy to remove this Hashira, I find vision blacken and my body rocket over the female Hashira. Crashing into yet another building, I raise myself up and feel around where my eyes should be, but I find nothing, only empty space.
"You have a lot of nerve doing that to me!" I scream. "You! Right, it's you! It's you, isn't it? The one that he was talking about was you, huh?"
Yet the man doesn't even entertain me, speaking in private with the woman.
"Why didn't you just behead her?" The female Hashira asks.
"Well, you see… my blade's kinda stuck in its sheath, so I can't quite draw it."
As if to prove his point, the man holds his sheathe up and begins to tug at the handle to his sword, yet all it does is rattle, not coming out.
The female Hashira then rapidly claps her hands and makes a deafening whistle. "Don't worry, I've got that covered."
"Hey," Slamming my fist into the roof, I say, "Don't ignore me."
Yet, the moment that the man looks at me, the sword in the female Hashiras hand disappears and so does he. Moments later, I find him standing back where he once stood, presenting the blade back to the female Hashira.
"Wha-What did you do?!"
But my answer comes when blood seeps from my neck and my head drops into my hands.
"You're really too weak for an Upper Moon, even if you're number 6, you should put up just as big a fight as Doma or Akaza did. This… is just saddening."
'B-Beheaded… '
"I truly wouldn't have thought you were an Upper Moon but based on what I could get from when I fought with Muzan before, he probably won't let anyone even fake it that they're an Upper Moon."
The two Hashiras then turn their backs to me, causing me to scream out, "Hey, come back here! Where do you think you're going? I can't believe that you had the gall to behead me! You're going to pay for this, you hear me?"
"Are you still whining and moaning? You should just go ahead and die already."
"Don't give me that!" I scream back, "In the first place, you said I was an Upper Moon, didn't you?"
"Yeah, but now I'm thinking that I was wrong." The man doesn't hesitate to answer.
"You said it yourself, I'm Upper Rank Six. And I haven't lost yet, all right? Because I'm an Upper Rank!" Tears begin to pour from my eyes as their stares dig into me, "I'm really powerful, you know! Right now, I'm number 6, but I'm going to get even stronger! I'm telling the truth! I'm amazing, you hear me? Die, die! All of you should just go die! He cut my head off! He cut my head off! Brother!"
Instantly upon calling my brother's name, he comes out of my back, and yet, a third presence enters the scene, trying to behead my brother.
But big brother is reliable, so he dodges the attack, reattaching my head to my body while also whipping my tears away. Now that he's here, we can win… right?
