Upon hearing the deafening scream, the people outside the room barged in and displayed panicked expressions on their faces.

"What happened, Yongliang?" Hwang Jihyuk questioned the brown-haired boy.

Zhou Yongliang was torn between keeping his focus on Yang Liu or answering Hwang Jihyuk's question. He decided to choose the latter in the end.

"It's a part of the ritual, gege. Can you bring the others to wait outside? The ritual is dangerous for normal humans."

Zhou Yongliang answered the question as he kept glancing at his boyfriend. Huang Jianguo was there with his boyfriend, having his palm on Yang Liu's forehead, and the boy could see a black aura emanated from the palm. He knew that normal humans couldn't see the aura, but a vampire hunter like him could see it.
