Bab 149: The Mysterious Stranger

The damage to the city was thankfully minimal. It was not anything worse than they got during storm season and it turned out the docks were evacuated by order of the Master Strategist, who no doubt heard what happened when a military ship was requisitioned in the name of the heir and decided to err on the side of caution.

Four soldiers were lost and several were severely injured. Once Mattheus caught his second wind after a power nap though, he was easily able to heal everyone still alive.

Needing to keep the presence of Mattheus secret to everyone but the top brass, they couldn't exactly condemn the Cult of Yog-Sothoth at once.

The Hierophant reassured the twenty-one-year-old that he had an idea and could handle it, so Mattheus only (reluctantly) filled Andreas in to make sure whatever Homer Spyros had in mind would be successful.
