"What happened Alex? Why the fuck did our brother die today?" Lex asked. She had been thinking a lot, but with their brother gone, there was no point in staying silent. She wanted to know what had happened. 

She needed to know, otherwise, she would go crazy from thinking too much. They were happy yesterday. Hell, they'd been happy today too, but how the fuck had that turned into a freaking funeral for them? 

When the fuck had it been so okay for anyone and everyone to take everything for them? 

It wasn't fair at all. They were living in hope and yet the same hope kept leaving them vulnerable at every point. They hated this, but what could they do anyway? 

"We were having a meeting today, with the shareholders. Diego wanted to buy shares from Lia as planned, but he--'' Alex began and stopped. He wasn't sure he wanted to have a recap of their day just yet.
