Bab 85: Life Goes on??

The week that followed was terrible for the two soulmates whose bond had been ripped apart. Alexander had become more ruthless. He had gone back to the monster everyone was scared of in the company.

He had become the man everyone was scared of. He had literally been the demon they thought they had buried. He came to work early, talked to no one. Absolutely no one. He gave everyone the cold shoulder.

Of course, he still greeted the guards and interacted with them, but this time, there were no storytimes. It was always the casual "good morning, good evening" pleasantries. There was nothing else.

The company was once again being a cold sphere. He was strict. Looking out for every single mistake that anyone made. The new secretary he had been given was useless to him and he just wondered what the fuck she was there for.
