Bab 33: Going Back

After getting Lia through the crowd that was waiting by their gates, Alex went back to the new horror that he called life. Of course, they had taken Ryan's open challenge seriously. Ryan neer really bluffed and while people didn't know him that well, they knew enough to stay away.

He was the type of guy to act on his impulse. He never cared that anyone got hurt, if that meant defending his family, and here and now, these people had pissed him off. He wasn't going to let them hurt his family anymore.

The journalists had kept their distance and left the locals to take the risk for them, which was a smart move.

Alex didn't know why his family had to go through this again. He didn't know what they had done to deserve all this hate and insanity. Was it so hard for people to just accept that their family was happy?
