Bab 75: "Interrogation in the Spa"

It was roughly fifteen minutes since Ely went inside the bathing room. She stayed sitting naked in the fragrant waters with floating petals of lavender. She did not notice that she had been staring blankly at one spot of the spa.

The Queen of Ballad could not forget what she heard a few moments ago. She did not mean to eavesdrop on Maro and Anna's conversation; it was just a coincidence that when she passed by, she heard the juiciest part.

'I think I haven't apologized yet… for climbing in your bed that night.' – was what Ely heard. That sentence repeatedly echoed in her head! Although she had to accept that due to her absence it would be possible for Maro to have affairs with women during those years she was gone, she did not know what to feel. It's just that Ely did not expect, of all people, Maro's most trusted female minister would be bold enough to seduce him.
