Bab 90: From Sorrow's Bone Part 2

As the night bleeds into the wee hours of morning, Daniel's dining table is occupied at full capacity for the first time. Its six seats are filled by Bodhi, Jinn, Rosalind, Feng Mian, Noe, and Daniel himself. 

The tacos are set at the dinner table. 

"Let's eat," Daniel tells the Ephemerals. 

Scarfing down the tacos like wolves, even the tacos' tray is almost inhaled.

The nerves within Jinn's body spark as the electrifying zing of good food sends shivers down Jinn's spine. Pleasured bumps sprout upon Jinn's skin. With food spilling out of his mouth, Jinn praises Daniel. "These tacos are good!" 

Daniel chuckles through his nose as he regards Jinn. 

So preoccupied with lovingly observing Daniel's actions, Noe has not even made a move to acquire a taco of his own.

Biting into the creamy taco in his hands, a small trail of green cilantro sauce remains beside Daniel's cheek. Noe instantly eyes this trail.
