The middle-aged man put down his wine glass and walked quickly to the exit.

When he saw the scarecrow kill the two people from the Mage Association, he quickly left the scene, afraid that he would be discovered by the scarecrow.

So he took a car and came all the way here.

He was sure that the scarecrow did not find him when he was at the Wentley stadium.
