Devon still had his mouth on Penelope's mouth as he placed her on the bed. The way Penelope sucked on his lips was so intense that it couldn't help but feel as though she was channeling the grief she was feeling into the kiss.

Despite Devon knowing what was going on, he didn't mind it in the slightest and continued to use it to his advantage. Rather than holding the pain in, Devon believed it was better to let it all out.

And that was exactly what he was going to do for her. Having killed her husband, her children, and also ruining her child's wedding, Devon felt that he owed her the pleasure of making her moan to those people's death.

Slowly, Devon adjusted his position on her body and removed his mouth from hers. As soon as he had done that, Devon didn't back away from her, and instead, he chose to attack another area of her body.
