  I screamed in silence. My shield must have been very frail for it to have been broken into twice. I couldn't comprehend their desire to break into my mind and agonise me.

'It is certainly a disgraceful honour to have met you,' I replied. 'What are you? Why are you here?'

'Are you sure you haven't met me before, sweet lady? You seem to be the one who is ruining my plans to take the kingdom for myself.'

'Then you are a coward to use such devious ways.'

A laugh sounded in my head as I watched him suppress a smile from where I stood. Then he said in an apathetic tone, 'A mere woman who derives her energy from a sacred pendant shall stop me? How wonderful. Let's see where you reach, shall we?'
