Bab 39: Falling For Each Other

"I don't want to sleep so early." Xixi responded with a cheeky smile. 

At first she thought of confronting him directly but she swiftly changed her mind as she realised she didn't want to get into an argument with him. At least not over such a trivial issue. 

Ziran, taken aback by her whining tone, looked at her. And once again unintentionally his gaze brushed past her bare clavicles. He forced himself to fixate his eyes on her face, not allowing his eyes to wander any more. 

Xixi curiously looked up at Ziran. Wondering why his ears were bright red. Does he probably have some kind of dust allergy? She wondered. Ziran's Adam's apple bobbed as he looked at the girl staring at him with her misty doe eyes.

"Then how about….

"Let's go to the garden." Xixi interrupted Ziran midway. 

"Sure, but first you need to dry your hair." Ziran quickly replied back. The garden..mhmm..it's indeed the perfect place to spend some quality time with her.
