Bab 31: Summoned.

Victoria on the side asked, "What is Silver river?" she was not familiar with the stuff these guys were talking about.

Bones said, "Silver River is a punishment for those who break the rules. A hunter may kill people but if the master of a vampire is too strong, then they need to go to the tribunal. So based on the evidence, the punishment is decided by the tribunal. Just like how your family assets were taken over.

The vampire who is sentenced to Silver River is chained in the dungeons. In front of them, a goblet of blood is served. While liquid silver is injected inside their bodies daily. The dosage is increased daily to make it more excruciating for the punished."

Victoria flinched and asked, "What is the purpose of the blood goblet?"

Ashley said at this moment, "If the punished picks up the goblet of blood, then the seals inside their bodies become twice stronger. They seek the blessing of the blood god to deal with the pain from the liquid silver. This makes them unable to take refuge with the church of light."

He faced Bones and said, "I will submit the evidence today itself. Also, be careful. This snake is cunning enough."

Bones nodded and Ashley faded away after turning to black smoke. Victoria was surprised and asked, "Say Bones, can I also have this fog effect to travel to places?"

The man did not even bother with this skid and walked out of the room. Victoria followed him. The blade in his hand has vanished when he entered the kitchen. Victoria asked, "Hey, I have been meaning to ask you. What is the deal with this painting of your mother?"

Bones stopped what he was doing and asked her, "Do you mean how one became entranced when they look in the eyes?"

The girl nodded, and the man replied, "An effort to feel her presence. The ink used to draw her eyes is made for her ashes."

Victoria asked, "What do you mean ashes? Is she not buried?" she was surprised to hear his words.

Bones spoke in a heavy voice, "Her body was cremated by Alucard Tepes. He took away the urn with him. After I completed my training, I barged inside his house. He let me break five of his ribs, both his hands, and I took the urn away. Before she died, my mother told me to bury her by her beliefs.

I made this painting during my training period. Later on, I added a pinch of her ashes in the eyes. I thought it was a spell, but it is not. I do not know how it happened, but the glamour effect appeared. Whenever I look at this painting, I feel like she is looking at me with her eyes. Those warm eyes... what I would not give up to see them once again."

Victoria felt the fluctuation in his eyes. She walked behind him and hugged him suddenly. She said, "She is always watching over you. Why do you think a psychotic hunter like you is still alive to be called an old relic?" She shook her head and asked, "Tell me, do you not feel old when you look at the young people around?"

Bones could not help but let out a chuckle. Probably the first one in a century. He said, "You sure have a vivid imagination, KID. Now back off before you get spanked senseless." his tease came too suddenly.

Two words together, imagination and spanking. Triggered an imagination sequence in Victoria's mind. The girl blushed and punched him back. Bones sighed and said, "You need some training. Your strength is nowhere near its true potential."

Victoria pursed her lips and snorted. She did not reply, and suddenly her phone rang. She went inside her room to check who it was from. It was an unknown number. Hesitantly she picked it up and said, "Hello."

A bland voice sounded from the other side." The tribunal requests your presence."

Victoria was confused about why did she get the call from the tribunal. She said, "I will be there right away."

She changed her clothes and came out of the room. She found Bones waiting for her. he said, "I also got called. Also, you are doing things my way. I will not have a weakling around me."

Victoria was pissed instantly when she heard the word weakling. She is a pureblood you know. How can she take this lying down? She said, "You are on. Let's go."

The man nodded, and the two walked out of the house. Victoria was wearing a pair of sneakers and jeans along with a check shirt. the staff saw Bones walking out of the elevator with a woman. they were surprised. Bones did not bother with them and walked out of the building. Then he said, "We are running on the top of the buildings if you are left fifty meters behind me, you will clean the dishes after dinner, or I will break your legs. Choose one."

The dominant princess knew this guy was not bluffing at all. He will actually break her legs. She said hurriedly, "Dishes."

Bones nodded and after he turned into an alley behind the building, he vanished. Victoria reacted a tad bit slower, and the hunter was already on top of the skyscraper while she was climbing. She was surprised and exclaimed, 'So Fast,'

She did not think that this guy was so fast. bones did not intend to wait for her, and he kept moving forward with all he had. Victoria was not used to such travel, her body was stiff, and she tripped a lot of times. Funny how a vampire can trip. Well, even a canon gets rusted if not clean regularly. They are still creatures. Also, magical creatures are not invincible at all.

The two people reached the tribunal in twenty minutes. Victoria did not look like a princess now. her hair was scattered, and she had dirt stuck on her clothes. She was shaking slightly. Her body has never worked out so intensely. She was about to sit down on the ground when she heard a cold voice.

"You seem to enjoy yourself, Vici." the voice belonged to Oleksiy Vlad. Victoria raised her head, and she looked at her father. Oleksiy Vlad was accmpanied by another man.
