After a wholesome minute had passed by, Gabriel decided to let her be.
"Flinch!" He shouted, all the while still ogling at the damsel in front of him. In a quick minute the yellow haired teenage boy—who's actually tall enough and macho-built that he can be mistaken for a full grown adult man anyway—, this boy, Flinch, began to walk closer to the cell after just busting open the main entrance door into that room.
The cell where his boss was presently standing with the girl, Victoria, resembled a fat box with bars on its three sides—left, right and front—, fastly secured to hold in any unlucky hostage, who in this case happens to be Victoria; daughter of Queen Veronika and King Aldeus. Except that she did not yet know as much about her birth parents.
Victoria meanwhile quickly averted her eyes from Gabriel toward the entrance the minute the distant door got forced open.
Late publish. Sorry. 2x chapters warming up for publish in The Merchant's Bride. Add up if you haven't done so yet. It is the Sequel to this book.
Once the voting poll opens, please endeavour to vote powerstones to help me win the WPC, —at least maintain top 3 rank in the contest—, that'd be fair. And remember it's not just a win-win for me alone. The highest voter will get a coin gift from me (depending on if we win the contest).
Results will be out 2 weeks from now. #Fighting.
