The sound of those words broke her heart and crumbled her spirit. Perhaps the man had every right to feel as mad and even react like that but not these words.. That was him thinking too low of her.

"Is that what you truly want? Or have I simply been a topic of joke to you.. "

Ezekiel said nothing but kept his eyes on her beautiful face, nonetheless. 

Giselle waited. But then the silence reigned and so irky was it that the room began to feel as though it was becoming short of air. 

"I will leave," She told him, "Thank you!"
