The words Briceus had just spoken to her caused Lizzie to begin to feel some way. She had not expected for him to sound so... vulnerable.

The ones who rended her beautiful dress which she'd engaged Bessie to help her collect on rent from the kind old Mr Lynchfield for the purpose of said day's occasion.
