Bab 113: Stop Playing Tricks

He hadn't questioned why last night because he thought he had gained something to hold against her. He thought she had every reason not to get caught by the enemy. After all, the mastermind behind the church had targeted her and in order to survive through this hurdle while keeping Argan, her demon, out of the duke's sight, she had to choose him.

Prince Revaz had thought things through and with that conclusion in mind, he had nailed those reasonings as part of the reason why she had chosen him. There was no other option. She had to choose him. He was the only who had the power and status as the second prince of the empire, favored by the king himself, to make her secrets stay a secret while freeing her from any suspicion that the duke might have.
