Bab 166: Hunting In The Nights

The place was dimly lit, barely any candles or lanterns were scattered around the tavern and it was hard to see any one face clearly. But Nesrin didn't need to use her sight in order to find what she was looking for.

As a parting gift, Azenora had given her an old ring; a band of silver with ancient symbols. She had mentioned that the ring would turn noticeably cold whenever it senses an unnatural amount of dark aura in the air.

Three weeks have passed since Nesrin left Azenora. In the end, there was not much she could learn. The queen mentioned a few things, about how they had used the essence of light to burn through the very being of Ezrahl.

But, for some strange reason, she didn't mention much about what happened afterward. Her fear was still raw.
