Izekiel placed his quill down and looked at her with those bitter eyes that held no light or warmth.
His gaze was intense but Nesrin held it just the same. She can not allow herself to show her heart's nervousness and risk making Izekiel any more suspicious.
Izekiel placed a sheet of paper and quill in front of her.
"You can write?"
Nesrin remembered that it might not work if she lies. Perhaps he would let her just leave if she tells the truth.
She nodded before taking the paper and quill. There was a seat at the furthest corner of the room, Nesrin took seat there.
Izekiel glanced at her once.
She began to slowly formulate a story that consisted of truth and lies which might help her.
Nesrin subconsciously lowered her head a little more to hide her face. He might be able to recognise her and she did not wanted to take any chances.
