Bab 46: Her Majesty

A soft aroma of herbs wafted in air, it was sweet and tinged with slight bitterness, and has a scent that was reminiscent of of freshly plucked flowers.

The large pavilion, in the middle of palace lake, was the gathering spot for Lady Myrtle's tea party.

Myrtle places the cup down with a small sigh that hid her faint smile.

"I suppose her highness will not be joining us,"

"How...rude," Duchess Belona muttered, "Her highness is a princess, but my lady is not only superior in bloodline, but in imperial status as well,"

Belona was not the only one who expressed her displeasure, the other attendants were anticipating Princess Johanna's arrival, waiting to befriend her and gain some imperial favors, but now they talked about her lack of etiquette.

Myrtle hadn't felt this good in a long while.
