Bab 113: Raging Storm

Typhoon Draconian went outside in the storm. When a gust of wind threatened to blow him away, he pushed it aside with a flick of his finger. The former king wasn't afraid of the gale as the air was still his domain to rule over. He might have abdicated in favor of his son, but no one could take away his other kingdom.

Pressing forward, one step in front of the other, Typhoon joined his hands, creating a bubble of safe haven around him. Inside it, no breeze blew and the static air had a sweet scent. This way, he avoided any unnecessary distractions and he could focus on the main threat.

Leaves and broken branches struck the outside of his invisible shield, ricocheting as if they hit iron armor. His gait was steady, going further away from the palace as possible, till the inevitable would find him.
