William sighed and slowly nodded. "Yes."
"In that case, what did you feel? How much did your strength increase? Since when you feel the changes? Yakov said that it's an increase in strength, so it meant that you must be much stronger than what you were a few days ago? Also…."
"Stop." William raised his hand, effectively stopping Sienna who wanted to continue on and on to ask him about his condition. "I'm not paying close attention to myself, so I can't say for sure. As for how much stronger I become…. It'll be easier if you hand me a scrap of metal that you don't need."
Sienna quickly turned her gaze to look at Rozan, hoping for him to bring them a useless piece of metal.
Seeing the gaze, Rozan smiled lightly and nodded. There were several parts of metals that he no longer needed after cutting them. Rummaging through the pile of trashes, Rozan picked up a piece of metal that was deformed.
"Here you go."
"Thanks."
William took the piece of metal and held it in one hand. He looked at Sienna and said slowly, "I don't know since when, but I can do this."
Crack!
The metal in his hand was crushed as he pressed two fingers on the sides. Looking at the metal, William was sure that he had grown even much stronger than before. The force he needed to exert was not small, but it was still more than enough to destroy a piece of metal.
Rozan was looking at the metal in William's hand and then looked at the camping bus. He turned his head to look at William once more. "Please be careful and make sure you don't lose control of your strength."
"I'll be careful." William held a bitter smile. If he was the one who destroyed the camping bus, where would he came crying to?
"But this is good too," Rozan said full of interest as he looked at William.
"Yes?"
"Come with me to test the metal's strength. I have been wondering which one I should use as the layer for the camping bus since the metals looked the same. There's no equipment here that can allow me to see their insides."
William was speechless.
Now he had turned into metal's hardness tester? He knew that during test, the metal would be stretched and pressed so that one will know how much strength it could hold. However, he decided to follow Rozan with Sienna tailing him full of interest.
Gloria and Yakov chose not to come along. They were not interested to see William destroyed a few pieces of metals.
"Yakov, I want to ask."
"Yes?"
"Is it fine if I use the car battery to charge the phones?"
Yakov was stunned. "A car has battery?"
Gloria: "…" she felt that she should have never asked him. In the next second she came to realize that the term might not be familiar to him.
"Accumulator or maybe alternator?"
"What is that?"
"…" Gloria gave up.
(A/N: Accumulator was a device that could save electrical energy in the form of chemical energy. It's usually used in car or other teleportation device while alternator is the other name of a synchronous generator)
However, a light flickered in Gloria's eyes as she turned her eyes to look at the car that William and Yakov used to come here. Come to think about it, there was alternator inside a car, right?
She had completely forgotten about it since she was unfamiliar with car and couldn't even drive one. However, the alternator inside the car was also used to provide electrical current when the car was running. An alternator usually could last for around seven years in the car, so she only needed to find one that was still in good condition.
There was no need for her to painstakingly search for portable generator if she could make use of the alternator and accumulator from the abandoned car nearby…
It didn't take long for William to return back. He only tested a few metals and then told Rozan which one required him more energy to break. Afterwards, it was Rozan who stayed behind to test each one of them to figure out which one would be the most suitable for the camping bus.
Sienna was already busy inspecting the metal as the result of William's destruction to it. She wanted to know how much William's strength had grown.
However, he was greeted with the excited Gloria.
'Is today the day these bunch get excited over nothing?'
"William, is it possible to take out the alternator and accumulator from a car?" Gloria asked.
William was stunned, completely forgot that there were those two items inside a car. He nodded absentmindedly. "Do you plan on using them to generate electricity?"
Now that he thought about it, as long as they connected the battery to the generator, the generator would start. In addition, the generated voltage would be more than enough to power up simple electronic device.
"Do you think it'll work?"
"Yes. An alternator can provide around 13 to 15 volts and the voltage needed to charge your phone and all only need that amount. Besides, there's also the voltage regulator that was part of the built in inside the alternator and…."
William raised his hand to stop Gloria from explaining to him. Even if she continued to speak, he was sure that he wouldn't understand anything. "Come with me outside and took the necessary one from the car. However, I'll have to ask Rozan to make a box to place it in case it'll be dangerous, understand?"
"Yes! Thank you very much!"
For the first time ever since a few days ago, William saw Gloria got excited. A smile formed on the corner of his lips. This appearance suited her much more than her gloomy and solemn look.

Sora's Corner: Accumulator and Alternator inside a car
In case you didn't know, alternator was the other name for synchronous generator. It's a device used to generate electricity to a certain voltage amount.
Many people think that accumulator was the one that started a car's engine, but it was actually only doing two works: Keeping the electronics on when the engine is off and also start the engine. Once the engine start running, it was alternator that provided the energy by continually charges the accumulator/car battery while operating all other electronic components in the vehicle.
As for how it works, you may search in the internet by yourself since I believe that you have an active internet if you're interested in it. (The explanation might last pages, which is unsuitable to put here lol)
