"What are you going to do with Aiden?" her eldest cousin asked. 

"Let's think that you confess everything to him, leaving Edmund and his birth. Even if Aiden might or might not have a problem with you being a direct descendant of his grandfather's mortal enemy, his grandfather will certainly interfere." her cousin said.

Aiden might not have any direct rivalry with the Xander family as the treaty of peace was in place even before he was born. So, he might not be against Anna's descendancy from Xander family, however, if she wants to progress with Aiden and marry him, she has to meet his family and even if she decides to keep her origin a secret, they would find out soon. 

After all, grandfather Xander will not leave them in peace and who knows? He himself might disclose Anna's origin to Fletcher family and make it difficult for her to marry Aiden.
