Tom smiled kindly, "Go to those men and tell them it was a mistake on your part. You can repair the damage you caused."
The idea blazed with white-hot hope, she threw herself at him, grabbed him into a hug. "Why did not I think of that?"
Tom chuckled, pushing her away uncomfortably. She was the key to saving Vulture's life, she had wasted so much time already. She flew, everything blurred in front of her as she sprinted through the house.
She did not want her master to go away from her, she did not want to cause misery to her master. Her place was by his side and she had accepted it. She had to make him forgive her and find a way to stay.
