Bab 73: Past - 38

"Yes, I have to get away from here. For my sake, for Jason's sake."

This time after thinking that just as Regina opened the door, she heard few footsteps approaching in a hurried manner along with a voice of a man and a woman. Regina recognized the woman's voice, it was Jane's, she also recognized the man's voice but she did not know his name.

Hearing Jane's voice coming closer, Regina shut her eyes tightly asking her brain to work thousands of times more faster and tell her what to do.

Not wanting to waste a moment, She pushed off the door and ran like an Olympic sprinter towards the car stopping just next to the back door of it. 

'Please let the door open.' With swift but shaking hands she tried to open the back door, and almost cried in relief when it opened.  She without wasting any seconds threw herself inside, hiding as tight as she could in the leg space under the seats.
