Bab 73: Let's Imagine: Prologue IV

"If you're going to use that stance, keep your leg forward."

Iyuna lunges into the air while throwing down a decisive kick towards my torso. I evade her attack and throw a jab forward as she reaches the ground.

"Stop focusing on my hands, look at my hips and shoulders, as you'll see those move before I strike with any of my limbs."

My opponent re-directs my punch with her palm and ducks down to perform a low-kick at my ankles. I perform a back-flip while landing nimbly on one hand and straightening myself up on two legs.

"You're reflexes have grown a lot since our first spar some weeks ago." Iyuna stands while patting her blue dress.

I look at my hand while performing a small flex of its muscles. "I definitely wasn't able to do stuff like this on Earth."

A few weeks have gone by, and it's back to business as usual. I've been practicing hand-to-hand combat with Iyuna nonstop, and it feels like I'm starting to make some progress.
