Bab 141: The Last Resort

Bones fired non-stop until Jamal managed to get behind the central staircase. 

With a complicated expression, Bones pointed his hand at Jamal as he asked, "Why do you keep fighting? You have no weapons, and you have no chance to beat me. What are you doing? What are you trying to do?"

Jamal, behind the stairs, tried to maintain his composure, the whole situation was against him, but he calmly reached into his pocket and took out two knuckles. The magnetic power of the wall wasn't pulling them because they were made of gold.

Jamal smiled. The knuckles were a gift. His mind traveled a long time ago to the room of flaws in the Mansion of Virtues…
