 As Selena's eyes began to turn bloodshot, Levi tightened his arms around her; "I'm sorry.. I know.. I just can't help but think of how good of a mother you would be."

 Selena smiled with an edge of sadness to it; "I was a mother. Maybe not in name or blood, but Iris was my Little Flower all the same. No one can ever take our bond away from me, not even death. She may be gone, but I don't feel sad when I look at Serenity anymore: I feel grateful."

 Seeing the confusion on his face, Selena continued; "My little girl gave up her essence to save us all, and Serenity does everything she can to make her sacrifice worth it. I know death comes for us all, but I never thought I'd outlive my little girl.. Serenity makes that fact easier to bare."

 "Without her, I would've given up..And I never would've met you.. I owe her more than I can repay for that.."
