Bab 611: The Shock

Mo Roulan was lying on the ground.

Her eyes were wide with shock as she lifted her hand which was covered with blood. Her hands trembled fiercely and she looked at He Jian who was lying on her body and was not moving at all.

"Jian!"

She called out in a choked voice.

"Lanlan!"

Relief washed all over her body when she heard his voice. Perhaps it was just a minor wound. She tried to comfort herself when he raised his head and asked gently

"Are you alright?"

"Yes…are you…"

She answered immediately but before she could ask him the same, he went completely limp and his head rested on her shoulder.

"Jian!"

She called out again but this time she didn't get any response.

The tears from Mo Roulan's eyes fell down fiercely.

"Jian!"

She tried to get up with his body on herself. It was only then her eyes fell on her shirt which was starting to get red because of the blood.

"No…."

She whispered.
