'Even though we are literally chasing after him just to gain something in return...he is still so kind. Ugh, I can't imagine how he will react if he knows this.' 

"Since he helped me, I'll also try to help him move on from the past." Lai Jiayi giggled as she tied her hair into a ponytail. She then picked up her massive tote bag and went to get her bicycle.

"You look like you're in a good mood, quack." Yaya followed closely with a smile on his face. But his smile didn't last long. 

'When we are in a good mood, I can't help but think something terrible is going to happen, ah.' 

"Today is summer. The sky is so clear, and I can wear clothes I like. How can I not be happy?" Lai Jiayi whistled while hanging her tote bag to the bicycle handle.
