Bab 41: CHAPTER XXXIX

Aidan takes the car key from Josh's pocket. He opens the back door and lays Josh on the passenger seat. Then, he walks up to Amber and takes their belongings from the girl to put them in the trunk. Aidan has to lead Amber into the car. In the end, Aidan decides to return to Mountain Side, to Uncle Zac's place, to ensure Josh is okay. Throughout the trip, Amber cries quietly while occasionally looking back to check on Josh. He is still unconscious. Aidan remains silent, not knowing what to do or what to say.

Arriving at their destination, Aidan hurries in looking for Uncle Zac. Then, the two of them carries Josh to his room.

"He will soon recover. You have destroyed the source, haven’t you?. Everything will be all right," Uncle Zac tries to soothe Aidan.

"I need to check on Winter as well. Supposedly, she has been awake, right?”
