"Just die," A bored and tired-sounding voice spoke out from behind Iron Alchemist.
Iron Alchemist instantly realized the owner of the voice and turned back to see a familiar figure.
Alpha2 was the bored-sounding voice. Why? Because he was truly bored and tired of Vector's schemes.
"Welcome back, Hermes." Vector laughed through the children. He seemed insistent on calling Alpha2 by his Dancer alias.
"I'd say good to see you, but unfortunately it's not," Alpha2 sighed in responded and lifted his hands.
A strange invisible energy gathered around his fingertips, and gradually the energy became much more visible. It changed shapes rapidly, yet everyone could tell what it was supposed to be.
"Just die," he said and released the blue energy from his fingertips.
The flame flickered slightly and seemed to dim just as it was heading for one child but in the second just before it hit the child; the light was restored in a resplendent manner.
It took way too much out of me to write this chapter. I already had a note of how I imagined the chapter to be, but at the time it was more of like a bunch of adults infected get bodied. Iron Alchemist's conflicting was still there, but this was done in a more profound manner.
