Bab 49: 49. Be A Good Friend

Darian's been silent since this morning. He reflected on what Marlyn had said.

Does it have to hurt this much? Being friends with girls we like is hard. Darian, of course, cannot be anywhere near Ariadne any longer.

The man still moaned alone in the archery. Marlyn left it there about two hours ago.

All activities start working on the servants. Maybe Darian would like a break from all duties just for today. Darian wants to cool his head.

Alice smiled happily to meet sergio in front of the king and queen's room. They both carried trays of breakfast.

Elie had them serve breakfast for Avery and Ariadne. Lately Avery and Ariadne are more comfortable in the room at breakfast than at the dinner table.

"Are you well?" Sergio asked Alice.

Alice nodded. "Yes. My body is fine. How 'bout you? Did you do all this on your own when I wasn't around?"

"No. Elie takes care of the king and queen. I'm just getting ready for the king."
