Michael's P.O.V
Outside the Arcade abruptly got cooler, and much more silent, the noise from inside faded away heightening the tension.
"Can we go now?." Diana asked out of the blue, I blinked twice at her and used a hand to stretch my fingers across my forehead.
"Are you not going to say anything to me?." I asked, she made it seem like the possibility of me leaving didn't matter as much as I thought it would.
I was even stupid enough to think she would cry about it or something, my phone rang again.
"You should take that," Diana said avoiding my previous question, her vision on my phone.
My feet walked a bit farther from her to answer the call, I looked at the caller, it was Mia. My stomach tied a nervous knot, I peeped at Diana, she was staring into her phone, not paying me any attention.
"Hello." I said softly into the phone, "it's Xander." Mr. Tyler said over the phone. His voice made my head spin and my heart sink. Why in the hell was he calling me?.
