Bab 104: THE 19TH ACCOUNT: BECKFORTH VS. FRANCUA 6

We could hear the gunshots in Lucena as we walked back to the manor. When we were getting closer, Lowen looked for a higher place to position himself to snipe. When we reached the Northern Gate, there was a horrific welcome waiting just for me. I screamed hysterically at the sight! Jacob pulled me to him and locked me in his arms.

"How could he do this?! How could he do this to my father's remains?!" I yelled and pointed.

"Take him down!" Jacob ordered his crew.

My father's dead body was displayed and chained to the gate. His blood dried up on the ground. I knew he received a shot on the heart which should have killed him instantly. But his corpse has awful cuts and bruises as if they desecrated him when he was already dead.

"Shhh!!!" Jacob whispered to me. "I will avenge him! Calm down."
