Bab 91: THE 17TH ACCOUNT: THE LAST OF LABYRINTH? 5

The ambassador prepared a sumptuous dinner for us to replenish our strength for tomorrow's journey. I made sure I ate to my fill. Afterall, I will be needing my full strength. The dinner table was not tense but was filled with teasing and bantering especially with Monika and Dylan.

"Are you really sure that a scrawny little brat like you can escort us tomorrow?" Monika said as she glanced at Dylan after sipping from her glass of water.

Dylan frowned and pointed his fork to the mischievous gypsy, "Scrawny? You haven't seen my muscles yet. I might be a teenager but as I have said my skills are impeccable. I'll prove it to you tomorrow if we get ambushed! But enough about me, what could you do?" he retorted. "Aside from that gorgeous face of yours, what could you do?" 

Monika smirked, "Aw… you think I'm gorgeous?"
