Bab 162: Mean

Mike was sleeping hard. His body was exhausted and it needed all the rest it could get in order to start recovering from everything that he had been through. 

His sleep was interrupted though by something that smelled rather good. He wasn't fully awake but the scent of meat was wafting into his nose and impacting the dream that he was having. It was making him hungry. 

Despite his stomach grumbling against the smell, his body was so exhausted that it was hard to force himself to open his eyes and wake up. His body hadn't healed enough yet for him to come back to the land of the living. 

"You know that if you wait too much longer to wake up and eat this that it'll end up getting cold and won't taste so good later on." He recognized the voice that said this to belong to Walter. It sounded like it was coming from a much further away place than was logically possible.
