Bab 122: Be Patient

Houston waited for his boss to say anything as the other seemed more preoccupied with downing the mug of beer that had been put in front of him than talking to the detective. 

"Are you going to explain anything yet?" Houston asked as the other put the mug down. He met instead with glare. 

"You need to learn to be patient." His boss told him as he leaned back in the chair and he took a look around the diner. Houston wasn't sure what the other was doing but kept his mouth shut since his boss didn't seem interested in paying any attention to him. 

He knew that his boss was known for being strange but all of this was even more out of character for him than usual. Houston knew that something must have been going on, he just wanted to know what exactly it was and if there was something for him to be worried about.
