Chapter 90: I will kill you!

"You bastard! I will kill you!" A voice called out as Mary and Kalon entered the practice arena as the sounds of clashing swords echoed around the walls.

"I don't want to offend, but it's going to take a lot more than this to kill me." A familiar voice said casually in reply to the screaming of the other student. As Kalon looked over to one of the stages, he saw the man he had bumped into from earlier was fighting against a student with short brown hair who was holding a shiny steel sword in his hand.

But as he looked, Kalon was drawn to the weapon that Kai Long was using. It appeared dark and almost pitch black. It was as though it was made entirely of a shadow, and it gave an imposing feeling that drifted through the rest of the arena.

"Kai is back? I thought he would be gone for much longer." Mary said with a sigh as she looked over at the two of them fighting and then continued walking without paying much attention to what was going on.
