Bab 52: Romance, or Not

Suddenly, like a flash of memory, Ace remembered his conversation with Cleo. 

"Why are you only interested in characters you can't romance?" He remembered it saying. "This boy appeared for only a minute in the entire game." 

Wait. Wait. Wait. He thought. Romance him? You can romance him now? Why? How? Since when? 

And … I do not remember romancing him, he only appeared once, right? 

So … why do I remember his route? 

"Are you ok, your majesty?" He heard the boy ask and looked up to see him looking at him, still cautious but slightly concerned. 

"Cleo." Ace called as everything froze and the fox appeared before him, also looking slightly concerned. "You know, don't you?" 

"I do." Cleo shook its head. "A few minutes after you left. I could feel something wrong with the timeline so I began to scan everything. That was when I realized something."
