Bab 312: Like Pawns

"Now that we're gathered here tonight," Wang Lei said, already pouring a drink for Pan An and Chia Hao. "What's up? Obviously, we have a lot of catching up to do," he added. Pan An just sighed and Chia Hao, on the other hand, looked at the two. 

It didn't take long for Wang Lei and Chia Hao to arrive at Pan An's home. With them finally reunited this day after not seeing each other for how many years, they found themselves wanting to enjoy each other's company. 

However, with the timing of Pan An suddenly having a problem because of the sudden appearance of his father, they knew that they would have to comfort their friend first before enjoying the night. 

Although Pan An knew that Wang Lei and Chia Hao will want to prioritize his worries, he knew that he would have to ask them how they are first. They have been friends for as long as they can remember. It's basic courtesy to ask how they are.
