Bab 141: An Interesting Party (I)

Her eyes slowly opened when a cold breeze fondled throughout her cheeks. She needed to regain the energy from the sleepless night. 

She felt embarrassed when the question directly pointed at him yesterday and those eyes proved stunned from her query. It felt like it was a doubt. 

FLASHBACK

She stopped her track and glanced at Chance, who was standing far behind them. Luckily, Jean didn't catch sight of them at all.

Then, her lips formed into a full smile and gazed right into his deep brown eyes.

"Do you think I'll marry the man I love?" She asked directly. 

She knew Chance caught the words from her mouth because of the blush formed through his cheeks and with his eyes widened. But he looked away to avoid her deep gaze. 

END OF FLASHBACK

She whined and kept rolling all over her bed. This was the right time to kill herself but she couldn't. Her life was more precious than this mattress.
