Bab 466: Soul Separation (2-Last)

Crimson Blood City was completely different from the cities Khal had visited and seen throughout his life.

Back in the First and especially in the Second Realm, the streets of every city were full of beings, each minding their own business with vigor. Life could be said to be present in every corner and one could easily sense it even with one's eyes closed!

However, this was not the case at all here in Crimson Blood City.

The streets were literally empty with barely any beings seen walking on them. Trash and junk were almost everywhere while the smell of blood lingered in the air. As for the buildings on the sides, because of their old and almost demolished appearance and the unoccupied interior they looked rather haunted.
